"You got a fast car
But is it fast enough so we can fly away
We gotta make a decision
We leave tonight or live and die this way"

This song always fit a certain mood I get in, can't describe it. Such a beautiful song.

New Listens

Benjamin Francis Leftwich is a singer/songwriter from York who just came out with a new EP called "A Million Miles Out." There's only four songs but they are all wonderful. Just watch his new music video, it's a photographer's dream, so beautiful! Just look at all the colors and the beautiful colouring...inspires me.

"I will remember your face
'Cause I am still in love with that place
When the stars are the only things we share
Will you be there?"

He also has a great cover of The Killer's "When You Were Young"...

I also just downloaded Hurts' new album "Happiness." It's pretty good so far. I need to fulfill my urge for UK and overseas music.

“And I pray that just this once/It will be exactly what I want…”

I found about the new Erik Hassle EP "Taken" and it's amazing! I love that he comes out with new stuff so often. I think my favorite is "Last Rider"...sort of fits my situation. I can't seem to ever get what I want romantically, and I want it to just happen already. I also really like "Taken" (Original Version), but seriously, they're all good. Although "Standing Where You Left Me" seems to be a repeat but whatever, it's a great song! Love this!

People are letting me down all over the place. For a lack of better words...I will quote the wonderful Erik Hassle...

"Oh my god, this is too intense
It makes no sense,
This isn’t me, all this weakness
It makes me so sick…"

"Keep your heart close to the ground"

Back at school, this weekend reminded me why I love home so much. My family has to be so amazing that they have to go and make me homesick every time I leave. I wonder if I'll always be homesick for home and if this will ever go away.

Song that's on repeat at the moment...

"soldier on
soldier on
keep your heart
close to the ground"

Homesick

Do you ever get homesick?

I can't get used to it
I can't get used to it
I'll never get used to it
I'll never get used to it
